Marty McClain, Interim Pastor
Marty McLain has served in the ministry for over 30 years, including roles as lead pastor for five churches. Originally from Vidalia, Georgia, he holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Georgia, a Master of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
He and his wife, Stephanie, have been married for 36 years and share four grown children and six grandchildren.
Angie Keith, Worship Leader
Angie Keith has been a beloved member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church family for many years. Growing up surrounded by music her entire life, her deep-rooted passion for praise and worship shines through every service she leads.
When she isn’t leading our congregation in worship, Angie dedicates her time to caring for animals as a full-time Sergeant with the Meriwether County’s Animal Control division—a perfect fit for her lifelong love of dogs. Above all, Angie is a devoted family woman; she is a proud mom of three children and the doting grandmother to eight wonderful grandchildren.
Judy Griffies, Pianist
Judy Griffies has been a cherished member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church family for 20 years, blessing our congregation with her incredible musical talent. Having played the piano for most of her life, Judy’s passion for music runs deep—a gift she shared with the community for many years as a dedicated piano teacher. Everyone loves listening to her play, as her beautiful music brings a wonderful spirit of worship to our services each week.
When she isn’t sharing her talents at the piano, Judy loves spending time outdoors, tending to her flowers and working in her yard. Above all, she is devoted to her family; she has been happily married to her husband, Larry, for 56 years, and is the proud grandmother to 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Geana Dennis, Youth Director
Geana Dennis enjoys helping children discover God’s love in joyful and meaningful ways. Her life has been shaped through both challenges and victories, and through every season she has experienced God’s steady fai thfulness, guidance, and peace.
Her ministry philosophy is rooted in encouragement and grace, believing that no one is beyond God’s reach and that every person has value and purpose. She is guided by Proverbs 3:5, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding,” and her testimony reflects a life strengthened through prayer and trust in God, even in uncertain times.
Outside of ministry, Geana enjoys the simple joys of hiking, kayaking, good food, and spending time with her husband Tim, daughter Isabella, and her dog Tinkerbell.
